Jaypee Sports International Limited: About Us
Established in October 2007, Jaypee Sports International Ltd is a subsidiary of Jaiprakash Associates Limited (JAL). It has developed India’s premier motorsports destination – Buddh International Circuit BIC) – at Greater Noida, near India's capital city New Delhi. BIC hosted India’s first ever F1 Grand Prix in 2011 to a full house. Since then, it has come in for praise from F1 drivers and other team members for being among the fastest and most challenging race circuits in the world. JPSI, and its MD and CEO Mr Sameer Gaur, have got several national and international awards for the successful conduct of F1 races in 2011 & 2012.

BIC is a part of the Jaypee Sports City, which is spread over 2,500 acres. The sports city will include a Cricket stadium that is being developed in two phases and which will have a seating capacity of 40,000 people. There will also be a hockey arena, a sports training academy and infrastructure for other sports..
